Jess Vosseteig created the June 2026 Pride covers for three of America's most celebrated alternative newspapers: The Stranger, Portland Mercury and Chicago Reader. The brief called for a continuous panoramic illustration spanning all three covers, depicting a dollhouse cross-section of buildings packed with intimate, celebratory and humorous queer scenes. Each cover works independently, but placed side by side they form a single, unified tableau of community life across Seattle, Portland and Chicago.

Jess packed each floor with fab details: drag queens getting ready, couples sharing wine, a dance floor spilling across all three papers, a queer wrestling bout, leather bars, rooftop stargazers and domestic scenes of everyday queer life. Pretty awesome!
