What a week for Nicola Slater. The Leaf Thief and The Pumpkin Thief, both written by Alice Hemming, are sitting at #1 and #2 respectively on this week’s New York Times Picture Book Bestseller list.

The Leaf Thief, the book that started it all, holds the top spot, while The Pumpkin Thief, published by Scholastic just last month, has shot straight in at #2.

And there is more to come. The Egg Thief, the next instalment, is available to pre-order now ahead of its February release.

Congratulations to Nicola and Alice Hemming!
