June is here, and with it comes a vibrant celebration of love, identity, and community. At Good Illustration, we're proud to stand with the LGBTQIA+ community - not just this month, but every day.

To mark the start of Pride Month, we're sharing a message from Jess - an illustrator we’re proud to represent - who reminds us what this month truly means:

“June is all about remembering the people who have fought for queer liberation before us, while also celebrating where we are and looking to the future for more change.

Queer people are constantly under attack in some way, and especially with all the anti-LGBT legislation and rhetoric that’s been circulating, this month is more important than ever to our community. Being able to give ourselves space to celebrate our queerness and our community is such a crucial part of fighting for change.

Yes, we still have a long way to go – but please take the time to be proud of where we are and what we can do as a community!” 🌈💖

This month - and always - we stand in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community. Pride is not just a celebration; it's a protest, a legacy, and a commitment to justice. Let’s hold space for both the joy and the struggle, and continue using our platforms to uplift queer voices and drive change.
