October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month - a time to honour strength, share knowledge and remind one another that early detection truly saves lives. Jess’s illustration captured the spirit of care, solidarity and empowerment that defined the campaign.

The artwork celebrated the importance of self-checks, regular screenings and open conversations about health. It also served as a reminder that awareness must be inclusive - that every body and every identity deserves care, support and visibility.

Through vibrant colour and affirming imagery, Jess used art to inspire dialogue, compassion and collective action. Whether it was reminding loved ones, sharing resources or simply showing up for one another, each act of awareness helped build a culture of care and strength.
