Sam Dawson has illustrated An Underground Adventure: Come on a Treasure Hunt Through the Earth, written by Luke David and published by Curious Fox Books. An interactive search-and-find STEM picture book for children aged 3 to 6, it follows Rocky Diamond and his drilling squad on an expedition through dinosaur fossil beds, crystal caverns and ancient archaeological sites, all the way to the Earth’s core. Innovative die-cut pages reveal a new layer of the Earth with every turn, building to a giant fold-out finale, with Sam’s richly detailed illustrations hiding hidden creatures, gemstones and artefacts to reward repeat reading.
