Andy Potts has created a cover illustration for Al Majalla on the theme of the escalating nuclear arms race. Working in Cinema 4D and Redshift, Andy modelled missiles based on image research of nuclear arsenals from around the world, experimenting with lighting, textures and dynamic camera positions before bringing the final image together in Photoshop. The result is a composition with real visual aggression and momentum, a worthy companion to his earlier Al Majalla cover on the Space Race.
