Ashley recently created two show-stopping designs which were used on an epic 52 metre long floor projection for the ‘North of Tyne, Under the Stars’ event.
The first design celebrates the tradition of hand painted banners for the old mining trade union branches in the North.
The second pays tribute to the title of the show and the Geordie word for home – Hyem.
Ash was recently commissioned to bring one of Newcastle’s oldest pub signs back to life.
Named after its original proprietor in 1778, Richard Swarley, this historic C18th building has now been restored to its former glory thanks to Ash’s sympathetic design & colour scheme.
During the UK’s national lockdown due to COVID-19, gyms have been hit especially hard… but when the doors re-open at Inline Fitness Centre, new hand lettering by Ashley Willerton is now in place to inspire and motivate.
Christiane Engel’s lettering piece illustrates an emotional message from a real family member supported through the most difficult of times by Marie Curie, a UK based charity which provides care and support to people with terminal illnesses and their families.
Jay Roeder used his expressive lettering to highlight the vital help provided by Marie Curie, a UK based charity which provides care and support to people with terminal illnesses and their families.
