New Artist – Jianni Du

A super warm welcome to our newest signing, Chinese illustrator, Jianni Du!

Originally from China, since 2010 Jianni has resided in Melbourne, Australia. Although her love of art began during childhood, she initially embarked on a career in corporate accounting, before returning to her true passion, illustration.

Her portfolio of fun, cute, whimsical illustrations, using a cheerfully bright palette, had an immediate charm & we couldn’t wait to sign her to the Good team!

When not at her drawing desk, Jianni can be found in the garden, in a coffee shop with a piece of cake, by the sea and mountains, or looking at beautiful stationary and antiques.

Tanya Emelyanova – 123 Counting Book

This cute & cheerful book illustrated by Tanya will help toddlers practise counting their counting and number skills.

Tanya’s inspiration for the artwork came from a childhood spent at her Grandma’s village house where there were lots of animals, including pigs, chicken, geese, cats, dogs, horses, cows, rabbits, turkeys, sheep and bees.

Nicola Slater: Beginning Baby series

Introducing Beginning Baby, a new line of novelty board books and gifts from the Chronicle Children’s group. Nicola Slater has illustrated 3 lovely titles from the series; “10 Hugs and Kisses”, “Welcome to Shape School” and “Smile, Baby”. Nicola’s instantly recognisable art and adorable characters are sure to make every baby and parent smile.

In 10 Hugs and Kisses, follow all of the adorable characters as they count all the way up to ten by making peace signs, sharing hugs, blowing kisses, and saying goodnight.

In Welcome to Shape School!, readers join Gabriel Giraffe, Elijah Elephant, Riley Narwhal, Mia Monkey, Layla Llama, Paisley Octopus, and Mateo Red Panda as they tap, trace, and count the nine different shapes that they encounter during their day at school!

Smile, Baby!‘s playful text introduces babies to their faces and asks them to find their nose, ears, and eyes in the embedded mirror.
