Kanako Damerum
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to the lovely Kanako Damerum. Heartbreakingly, Kanako passed away on the 23rd October 2019 and will be greatly missed.
Having represented Kanako and Yuzuru (Kanako’s creative partner and sister) for over 20years we lose a friend, a talented artist, colleague and an exceptionally gentle and nice person. A massive thank you to Kanako for being such a reliable and brilliant illustrator to work with. Highlights include cover art for Time magazine (Asia), the enormously successful ‘Alex Rider’ graphic novel series, BBC’s The Stig, Toyota F1 and The Guardian.
Kanako’s husband George has always played an instrumental role in helping to project manage our collaborations and our thoughts are with him, their daughter Mia, Yuzuru and family at this difficult time.
