Andy Potts is a London based illustrator and animator originally from Kingswinford in the West Midlands. Since graduating with a BA Hons degree in illustration from Portsmouth in 95 his career has comprised image making, graphic design, animation and art direction including a 7 year stint as Lead designer at Abbey Road Studios. Over the last ten years he has worked on numerous commissions for a wide variety of clients in advertising, publishing and design and his eye-catching illustrations have appeared in many international newspapers and magazines. Clients include BBC, IBM, RHS, Channel 4/E4, The Guardian, New Scientist, Independent and The Economist. His work has also received awards recognition from the Association Of Illustrators, Society Of Illustrators and the V&A Museum amongst others. His versatile style is a Photoshop crafted contemporary fusion of traditional and modern techniques mixing hand rendered elements with digital collage and vivid colour. He currently works in a shared creative studio space in East London collaborating on design and motion graphics projects alongside the freelance illustration and is a committed film geek and cycling enthusiast.
